Pueblo City Council,
I am asking for support from the Pueblo City Council for the 2018 6th annual
AMR Safety Jam. Safety Jam is a free to the public health and safety
education event that started in Pueblo in 2013. In 2017 the event brought
together 64 exhibitors offering free education and safety items to 2782
attendees all free of charge. For the past 3 years Pueblo has supported the
event with a $1000.00 contribution to offset costs. One of the needs this
money is used for is the shuttle buses that bring attendees from City Park
parking lots to the event and back to their car. I would also invite all Council
Members to attend the event and participate in the opening ceremonies that
salute our veterans. The 6th annual AMR Safety Jam will be May 12, 2018 at
Pueblo City Park. Opening ceremony begins at 10:00 AM. Please let me know
if you have any questions. Thank you for your time and all you do for the
citizens of Pueblo.
