A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT FROM THE
COUNCIL CONTINGENCIES ACCOUNT IN THE 2018
GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO THE SANGRE DE CRISTO
ARTS CENTER IN THE AMOUNT OF $500 TO DEFRAY
THE COST OF A BANQUET ROOM FOR A CELEBRATION
FOR THE SOUTH HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAM
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
Payment in the amount of $500 from the Council Contingencies Account in the
2018 General Fund Budget is authorized to be paid to the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center
to defray the cost of a banquet room for a celebration for the Pueblo South High School
football team becoming 4A champions.
SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are directed and authorized to perform any and
all acts consistent with the intent of this Resolution to effectuate the policies and
procedures described herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective upon passage and approval.

SUMMARY:
Pueblo County Commissioner Garrison Ortiz has requested assistance with the cost of a banquet
room at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
None.
BACKGROUND:
Council Member Ed Brown is requesting sponsorship in the amount of $500 for this event. Pueblo
County Commissioner Garrison Ortiz has requested assistance with the cost of a banquet room
to hold a celebration for the Pueblo South High School football team becoming 4A champions.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
Funds in the amount of $500 would be paid from the Council Contingencies Account in the 2018
General Fund Budget to the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center.
