Nawrocki and Members of City Council CC: Sam Azad, City Manager VIA: Gina Dutcher, City Clerk From: Nancy Keller, Wastewater Director SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM PROJECTS TO BE DETERMINED (WW1499) IN THE AMOUNT OF $600,000 TO EMERGENCY POINT REPAIR (WWAN03) SUMMARY: This Resolution approves a transfer of funds, already budgeted and appropriated, from Projects to be Determined to Emergency Point Repair project. PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION : Each year through the budget process, an amount is budgeted and appropriated for the Emergency Point Repair project (WWAN03). Through the 2017 budget process, $500,000 was budgeted for this project. BACKGROUND : The Emergency Point Repair project (WWAN03) was created to fund projects that need to be done immediately to protect the citizens and the environment. In addition to the typical emergency point repairs encountered this year, one particular point repair evolved into a substantial point repair. The sink hole repair at 633 Elm Street depleted the Emergency Point Repair project. Additional funds are needed to cover the remaining open projects, and allow for additional Emergency Point Repairs that may be encountered during the remaining months of 2017. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS : There are no new financial implications. Funds available in the Projects to be Determined project (WW1499) are made up of previously budgeted and appropriated funds remaining on projects closed out.
