The Brother/Sisterhood of Bikers has been hosting and raising funds for this event over the years in honor of our kids. Through the years we have seen the need in the community increase from our first year of 86 bags to last year's event In which 1,000 backpacks filled with supplies were distributed. Our purpose in hosting this event is to instill positive reactions and supportive environments to our youth. Last year's event was a huge success not only were we able to provide 1,000 filled backpacks but haircuts and lunch were provided and vision and dental screenings/resources were included. This year we look forward to reaching out to more young people in our community and hosting an even bigger and better event! It is because of generous supporters throughout the city of Pueblo that we have been able to provide Educational tools to our local families for the past 7 years, and with the support of many local businesses, we are planning another fun-filled event for children of school ages. We would like to provide an opportunity for you and your organization to participate and support our community and future leaders. We graciously request your support by donation of backpacks, school supplies or monetary funds to help us offset this event. Because we are entirely volunteer-driven your support will not go to overhead or personnel expenses. This event has impacted the lives of all who have participated and struggle with the need in our community. Please feel free to contact Melissa Alcon at 719-281-6313 with any questions.Thank you for your thoughtful consideration of this request. We appreciate your support and your continued contributions for the young people in our city. Thank You, "• j issa Alcon - Event Coordinator
