HomeMy WebLinkAbout13698 RESOLUTION NO. 13698 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE PUEBLO CONSERVANCY DISTRICT BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that: SECTION 1: The following individuals are hereby appointed to the Pueblo Conservancy District for a three-year term expiring July 31, 2020. Paul Willumstad Corrine Koehler Ronald Serna SECTION 2 The officers and staff of the City are directed and authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with the intent of this Resolution to effectuate the policies and procedures described herein. SECTION 3 This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval. PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: Appointments to the Pueblo Conservancy District made by the City Council on an annual basis st to serve three-year terms expiring on July 31 of each year. BACKGROUND Due to the term expirations of Paul Willumstad, Corrine Koehler and Ronald Serna on July 31, 2017, three positions are available on the Pueblo Conservancy District (City Appointments) Following an advertisement published in the Pueblo Chieftain, an announcement on the City Clerk’s webpage, and the City of Pueblo social media outlets no new applications were received. Board Members Paul Willumstad, Corrine Koehler and Ronald Serna have indicated that they do wish to be considered for reappointment. APPLICANT RESIDENCY FIRST APPOINTED BY CITY COUNCIL Paul Willumstad Resident of the City of Pueblo 2014 Corrine Koehler Resident of the City of Pueblo 2014 Ronald Serna Resident of the City of Pueblo 2014 FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: There are no financial implications to the City of Pueblo; however, appointed members do receive a monthly stipend of $200.00 paid by the Pueblo Conservancy District. BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: Not applicable for this Resolution. STAKEHOLDER PROCESS: None ALTERNATIVES: Remove from agenda and readvertise for additional applications.
