RESOLUTION NO. 13674
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT IN
THE AMOUNT OF $1,895,731.00 TO MARTIN MARIETTA AND
SETTING FORTH $145,476.00 FOR CONTINGENCIES AND
ADDITIONAL WORK FOR PROJECT NO. 17-005R OUTLOOK
BLVD. & WILLS BLVD. STREET AND STORM SEWER
CONSTRUCTION (RE-BID), AND AUTHORIZING THE
PURCHASING AGENT TO EXECUTE THE SAME
Outlook Blvd. & Wills Blvd. Street
WHEREAS, proposals for PROJECT NO. 17-005R
and Storm Sewer Construction (RE-BID),
have been received and examined, and;
WHEREAS, the proposal of Martin Marietta, of Westminster, Colorado was the lowest of
those bids determined to be responsible; NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
A contract for Project NO. 17-005R – Outlook Blvd. & Wills Blvd. Street and Storm Sewer
Construction is hereby awarded to said bidder in the amount of $1,895,731.00
SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are directed and authorized to perform any and all acts
consistent with the intent of this Resolution to effectuate the policies and procedures described
herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval.

SUMMARY:
This resolution awards a Construction Contract to Martin Marietta for Project NO. 17-005R –
Outlook Blvd. & Wills Blvd. Street and Storm Sewer Construction Project (Re-Bid).
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
None.
BACKGROUND:
This project consists of the construction of portions of Outlook Blvd. and Wills Blvd., including the
installation of storm sewer pipe and other incidental items as related to the construction detailed
in the plans and the specifications for the project.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
Funds for this Project will be paid out of CI1703 – Outlook & Wills Construction Project

Not Applicable

None
ALTERNATIVES:
Denying the Resolution will result in cancellation of the project.
