RESOLUTION NO. 13610
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE
SANGRE DE CRISTO ARTS AND CONFERENCE CENTER
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that:
SECTION 1:
Warren Diodosio is hereby appointed to the Sangre de Cristo Arts and
Conference Center Board of Trustees to serve a three-year term expiring December 31,
2019.
SECTION 2:
The officers and staff of the City are directed and authorized to perform any and
all acts consistent with the intent of this Resolution to effectuate the policies and
procedures described herein.
SECTION 3:
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval.

SUMMARY:
This Resolution appoints one individual to the Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center
Board of Trustees to serve a three-year term expiring December 31, 2019.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
Appointments to the Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center Board of Trustees are made

on an annual basis selecting individuals to serve three-year terms expiring on December 31 of
each year.
BACKGROUND:
Due to term the expiration of member Warren Diodosio and resignations from member Joy
Sterner and member Kennedy Pugh, there are three City appointments to serve three-year
terms expiring on December 31, 2019.
Following advertisements published in the Pueblo Chieftain and an announcement on the City
Clerk’s webpage seeking volunteers to serve on this committee, no new applications were
received. Incumbent Warren Diodosio submitted an application for reappointment.

There remain two City appointments to serve three-year terms expiring December 31, 2019.

This a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation.

ALTERNATIVES:
City Council could remove the Resolution from the Agenda, request that the recruitment process
be extended to receive additional applications for consideration.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the Resolution.
