HomeMy WebLinkAbout09058 ORDINANCE NO. 9058 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AND DEDICATING CERTAIN TH REAL PROPERTY NEAR THE W. 11 STREET BRIDGE, FOR USE AS PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY th WHEREAS, the design and realignment of the W. 11 Street Bridge required additional real property, and; WHEREAS, certain real property was donated to the City of Pueblo specifically for the project, and certain real property was purchased under the guidelines of the Uniform Act, and; WHEREAS, said real property was intended for use as Right –of –Way for the use by the public and utilities; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. The following Warranty Deeds, copies of which are attached hereto, are hereby approved, and accepted, and the real property (RW10, RW18-Rev1) identified therein is hereby dedicated as a Public Right of Way. SECTION 2. The officers and staff of the City are directed and authorized to perform any, and all acts consistent with the intent of this Ordinance. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval. The City Clerk is directed to cause said Deeds to be recorded in the office of the Pueblo County Clerk and Recorder forthwith. PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: th 2010 Ordinance No. 8170 accepting a FHWA grant, establishing the W. 11 Street Bridge Replacement project, budgeting and appropriating funding and approving an IGA w/ CDOT 2010 Resolution No. 11846 to Award Engineering Design Services Contract to URS (now AECOM) 2013 Ordinance No. 8584 Accepting a second grant FHWA Grant 2013 Ordinance No. 8585 Accepting remainder of FHWA Grant BACKGROUND: th The realignment of the W. 11 Street Bridge required the acquisition of additional real estate for construction of the bridge and adjacent improvements. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: All real property associated with this Ordinance was either donated to the City by the Pueblo Conservancy District or was purchased using project funds under the guidelines of the Uniform Act.
