HomeMy WebLinkAbout13555 RESOLUTION NO. 13555 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE PUEBLO MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE ENTERPRISE ADVISORY COMMITTEE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1: The following individuals are hereby appointed to the Pueblo Municipal Golf Course Enterprise Advisory Committee. Mary Beth Roth - Elmwood Daily Green Fee RepresentativeTerm expiring December 1, 2019 Michael Ricottone - Walking Stick Daily Green Fee Representative Term expiring December 1, 2019 Tammy Fesmire - Resident of the City of Pueblo Term Expiring December 1, 2019 SECTION 2: The officers and staff of the City are directed and authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with the intent of this Resolution to effectuate the policies and procedures described herein. SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval. Nawrocki and Members of City Council CC: Sam Azad, City Manager VIA: City Clerk’s Office FROM: Gina Dutcher, City Clerk SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE PUEBLO MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE ENTERPRISE ADVISORY COMMITTEE SUMMARY: This Resolution is for City Council to reappoint three members to the Pueblo Municipal Golf Course Enterprise Advisory Committee for (3) three-year terms expiring December 1, 2019. PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: Appointments to the Pueblo Municipal Golf Course Enterprise Advisory Committee are made on an st annual basis selecting individuals to serve three-year terms expiring on December 1 of each year. BACKGROUND The Pueblo Chieftain Following an advertisement seeking volunteers published in on October 16, 2016, and an announcement on the City Clerk’s webpage, no new applications were received. The following incumbents have indicated that they wish to be considered for reappointment:  Mary Beth Roth – Elmwood Daily Green Fee Representative  Michael Ricottone – Walking Stick Daily Green Fee Representative  Tammy Fesmire – City Resident Golfer FINANCIAL IMPACT This is a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation. BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: None STAKEHOLDER PROCESS: None ALTERNATIVES: Council could remove the Resolution from the Agenda, request that the recruitment process be extended, and order the public notice for applications be republished in order to receive additional applications for consideration. RECOMMENDATION : Approval of the Resolution. ATTACHMENTS :
