AN ORDINANCE DEDICATING CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY IN THE VICINITY OF THE DILLON
INTERCHANGE FOR USE AS PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY
WHEREAS, the Dillon Drive/Interstate 25 Interchange geometry required
additional real property, and;
WHEREAS, certain real property was donated to the City of Pueblo specifically for
the Dillon Drive/Interstate 25 Interchange, and;
WHEREAS, said real property was intended for use as Right of Way for the use
by the public and utilities; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The real properties RW-1, RW-2, RW-2C as identified in the attached Bargain and
Sale Deed dated May 27, 2014 between the City of Pueblo and W.L. Enterprises, LTD,
are hereby dedicated to the public and public utilities as Right of Way. The City Clerk is
directed to cause this Ordinance and attached Deed to be recorded in the office of the
Pueblo County Clerk and Recorder forthwith.
SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are directed and authorized to perform any and
all acts consistent with the intent of this Ordinance and the contract to effectuate the
transactions described therein.
SECTION 3.
This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval.

SUBJECT: AN ORDINANCE DEDICATING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE
VICINITY OF THE DILLON INTERCHANGE FOR USE AS PUBLIC RIGHT

SUMMARY:
This Ordinance dedicates certain real property transferred to the City under Resolution 12963, in
the vicinity of the Dillon Interchange, for use by the public and public utilities as Right of Way.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
2014 Resolution No. 12963 to Accept a Bargain and Sale Deed from WL Enterprises, LLC
BACKGROUND:
The geometry of the proposed Dillon Drive / Interstate 25 Interchange and adjacent improvements
required additional real estate from the adjoining property owners.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
None (All real property associated with this Ordinance was donated to the City by W.L.
Enterprises, LLC at no cost to the Dillon Interchange Project or to the City.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
Not Applicable
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
There have been four (4) public meetings associated with the Dillon Interchange project.
