We do realize the economy in Pueblo is improving but may not be back to where it should be as yet. With that we are hoping The Pueblo City Council can offer support in the amount of$1000.00 for the 2016 event. This event has grown to be a part of the kick off to the summer for Pueblo and provides a unique way to approach our citizens with health and safety information as well as other services and opportunities in Pueblo and the surrounding area. The money will be used to pay a vender to provide free snow cones as a giveaway to the public as fun hydration and a feature that increase attendance and impact. The City of Pueblo will be promoted as a sponsor of the event and the snow cone booth. Also in 2014 the City also provided city transit buses that were utilized as a shuttle with in city park for the event. We would ask that the Council consider allowing this again in 2016.The shuttles are vital to the event and arranging a contractor places a huge cost on the event that is totally sponsored by local businesses.
