HomeMy WebLinkAbout13272 RESOLUTION NO. 13272 A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING THE WESTERLY FORTY (40) FEET OF VACATED FAIRCHILD STREET, ADJACENT TO LOT 40, PUEBLO MEMORIAL AIRPORT INDUSTRIAL PARK SUBDIVISION, TO THE CITY OF PUEBLO WHEREAS, the City of Pueblo, a Municipal Corporation, is the owner of a certain portion of vacated Fairchild Street (per Road Vacation No. 2014-002) adjacent to Lot 40, Pueblo Memorial Airport Industrial Park Subdivision; and WHEREAS, the Pueblo County Assessor requests that this portion of vacated Fairchild Street be transferred to the City of Pueblo in order to combine the said vacated portion of Fairchild Street within the parcel number for said Lot 40. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. The Quit Claim Deed from the City of Pueblo, a Municipal Corporation (Grantor) to the City of Pueblo, a Municipal Corporation (Grantee), a copy of which is attached hereto, having been approved as to form by the City Attorney, is hereby approved and the President, of City Council is authorized to execute and deliver the Quit Claim Deed in the name of the City. SECTION 2. The City Clerk is directed to cause said Quit Claim Deed to be recorded immediately following the recording of ROAD VACATION NO. 2014-002, prepared by Edward-James Surveying, Inc., in the office of the Pueblo County Clerk and Recorder. SECTION 3. The officers and staff of the City are directed and authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with the intent of this Resolution and the attached contract/agreement to effectuate the transactions described therein. SECTION 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval. The Pueblo County Assessor’s office requests that the City transfer this portion of vacated Fairchild Street, via quit claim deed, to itself in order to combine the said vacated portion of Fairchild Street within the county parcel for said Lot 40.
