SUMMARY:
The Pueblo City Hall Interior Rehabilitation and Remodel Project requires additional

PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
The Pueblo City Council is executing an Ordinance to increase and budget and
appropriate funds in the amount of $510,000. City Council was awarded an Energy
Mineral Impact Assistance Fund grant from the State of Colorado, Department of Local
Affairs in the amount of $600,000 relating to the Pueblo City Hall Renovation Project,
Final Phase. The City provided the local match in the amount of $500,000 along with
accepting a $50,000 grant from the Boetcher Foundation and a $50,000 grant from the
David and Lucile Packard Foundation for the City Hall Project.
BACKGROUND:
The City Planning and Public Works Departments are requesting an additional
$200,000 for the Pueblo City Hall Interior Rehabilitation and Remodel Project, PL1306

The $200,000 will count as a local match for a recently submitted DOLA supplemental
grant request for the Project. The Project will complete the renovation and rehabilitation
of the second floor, first floor and lower level of City Hall. The Project construction is
tentatively scheduled for June of 2015 with the completion in December 2015.
