HomeMy WebLinkAbout13177 RESOLUTION NO. 13177 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE PUEBLO STREETSCAPE ADVISORY COMMITTEE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that: SECTION 1: William Adams, Barbara VIdmar, Diane Patterson, and Laura Winner are hereby appointed to the Pueblo Streetscape Advisory Committee Appointments for three-year terms expiring November 1, 2017. SECTION 2: The officers and staff of the City are directed and authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with the intent of this Resolution to effectuate the policies and procedures described herein. SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval. Nawrocki and Members of City Council CC: Sam Azad, City Manager VIA: City Clerk’s Office FROM: Gina Dutcher, City Clerk A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE PUEBLO SUBJECT: STREETSCAPE ADVISORY COMMITTEE SUMMARY: This Resolution appoints four members to the Pueblo Streetscape Advisory Committee for three-year terms expiring on November 1, 2017. PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: Appointments to the Pueblo Streetscape Advisory Committee are made on an annual basis selecting individuals to serve three-year terms expiring on November 1 of each year. BACKGROUND: Due to the term expiration of members William Adams, Barbara Vidmar, Diane Patterson and Laura Winner, there are four appointments to be made on the Pueblo Streetscape Advisory Committee with terms expiring on November 1, 2017. Following advertisements published in the Pueblo Chieftain on December 14, 2014 and an announcement on the City Clerk’s webpage seeking volunteers to serve on this committee, applications were received from the following individuals: William Adams Incumbent, Resident of the City of Pueblo  Barbara Vidmar Incumbent, Resident of the City of Pueblo  Diane Patterson Incumbent, Resident of the City of Pueblo  Laura Winner Incumbent, Resident of the City of Pueblo  FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: This a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation. BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: NONE STAKEHOLDER PROCESS: NONE ALTERNATIVES: City Council could remove the Resolution from the Agenda, request that the recruitment process be extended in order to receive additional applications for consideration.
