HomeMy WebLinkAbout12886 RESOLUTION NO. 12886 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that: SECTION 1 The following individuals are hereby appointed to the Historic Preservation Commission, for four-year terms expiring January 1, 2018: Maria Tucker Winter Roybal SECTION 2 The officers and staff of the City are directed and authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with the intent of this Resolution to effectuate the policies and procedures described herein. SECTION 3 This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval. RECOMMENDATION Approval of Resolution. BACKGROUND Due to the term expiration of Richard Cherry and Maria Tucker, there are two appointments to be filled on the Historic Preservation Commission. These appointments will be for four-year terms expiring on January 1, 2018. Mr. Cherry does not wish to be reconsidered for appointment and Ms. Tucker does wish to be considered for re-appointment. Following Public Notices published in The Pueblo Chieftain on Sunday, December 22, 2013 and a notice on the City Clerk’s webpage seeking volunteers to serve on this committee, applications were received from the following individuals: Maria Tucker – Incumbent, Resident of the City of Pueblo  Winter Roybal – New, Resident of the City of Pueblo  No other applications were received. FINANCIAL IMPACT This a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation.
