A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT FROM THE
COUNCIL CONTINGENCIES ACCOUNT IN THE 2014
GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO THE BESSEMER
ASSOCIATION FOR NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT IN
THE AMOUNT OF $212.98 FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF
POSTAGE FOR THE MAILING OF THE ANNOUNCEMENT
OF THE MEETING HELD ON JANUARY 7, 2014
REGARDING THE AREAS THAT MAY BE AFFECTED BY
THE EPA’S DESIGNATION OF A SUPERFUND LOCATION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
Payment in the amount of $212.98 from the Council Contingencies Account in
the 2014 General Fund Budget is authorized to be paid to the Bessemer Association for
Neighborhood Development for reimbursement of postage for the mailing of the
announcement of the meeting held on January 7, 2014 regarding the areas that may be
affected by the EPA’s designation of a Superfund location.
SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are directed and authorized to perform any and
all acts consistent with the intent of this Resolution to effectuate the policies and
procedures described herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective upon passage and approval.

ISSUE:
Should the City Council approve a Resolution authorizing the payment of $212.98 from
the Council Contingencies Account in the 2014 General Fund Budget to the Bessemer
Association for Neighborhood Development for reimbursement of postage for the
mailing of the meeting announcement regarding the areas that may be affected by the
EPA’s designation of a Superfund location?
RECOMMENDATION:
This Resolution is at the request of City Council Member Daff.
BACKGROUND:
A meeting regarding the areas that may be affected by the EPA’s designation of a
Superfund location was held on January 7, 2014, at NeighborWorks. This Resolution
will reimburse the Bessemer Association for Neighborhood Development for the
postage.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Funds in the amount of $212.98 will be paid from the Council Contingencies Account in
the 2014 General Fund Budget to the Bessemer Association for Neighborhood
Development.
