HomeMy WebLinkAbout12847RESOLUTION NO. 12847 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT FROM THE COUNCIL CONTINGENCIES ACCOUNT IN THE 2013 GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO TRIPLE G CONSTRUCTION IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,475 TO INSTALL THE CONCRETE PAD AND ADDITIONAL WALKWAY NECESSARY FOR A BUS SHELTER AT 3702 WEST NORTHERN AVENUE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. Payment in the amount of $1,475 from the Council Contingencies Account in the 2013 General Fund Budget is authorized to be paid to Triple G Construction to install the concrete pad and additional walkway necessary for a bus shelter at 3702 West Northern Avenue. SECTION 2. The officers and staff of the City are directed and authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with the intent of this Resolution to effectuate the policies and procedures described herein. SECTION 3. This Resolution shall become effective upon passage and approval. RECOMMENDATION: This Resolution is at the request of City Council Member Ed Brown. BACKGROUND: The community would benefit from having a bus shelter installed at 3702 West Northern Avenue. This funding would cover the cost to install the concrete pad and additional walkway. FINANCIAL IMPACT: Funds in the amount of $1,475 will be paid from the Council Contingencies Account in the 2013 General Fund Budget to Triple G Construction.
