A new supervisory position, Code Enforcement Manager, will be established. The new Code Enforcement Manager will supervise both the Code Enforcement and Zoning Enforcement employees, which will lead to a more efficient code/zoning enforcement operation, communication, planning and supervision of the International Property Maintenance Code. Upon appointment of the Code Enforcement Manager, the positions of Police Support Technician Supervisor and Zoning Enforcement Supervisor will be abolished. FINANCIAL IMPACT Funding for the new Code Enforcement Manager position has been budgeted for and will be appropriated in the 2014 Police Department budget.
