RESOLUTION NO. 12815
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE PUEBLO
REGIONAL BUILDING COMMISSION - CITY APPOINTMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The following individual is hereby appointed to the Pueblo Regional Building Commission for a
three-year term expiring October 1, 2016:
Albert Herrera
SECTION 2
The officers and staff of the City are directed and authorized to perform any and all
acts consistent with the intent of this Resolution to effectuate the policies and procedures
described herein.
SECTION 3
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval.

CITY APPOINTMENT
ISSUE
Should City Council appoint a member to the Pueblo Regional Building Commission for a three-year
term expiring October 1, 2016?
RECOMMENDATION
Approval of the Resolution.
BACKGROUND
Due to the term expiration of Incumbent Commission Member Daniel Toussaint, there is one
appointment to fill on the Pueblo Regional Building Commission – City Appointment for a three-year
term expiring October 1, 2016.
Mr. Toussaint has indicated he does wish to be considered for reappointment.
Resolution 12728 implemented an interview process for the applicants of the Pueblo Regional Building
Commission. Council members Sandy Daff and Ed Brown reviewed applications, interviewed the
candidates, and recommend Albert Herrera for appointment.
The Pueblo Chieftain
Following an advertisement published in on August 25, 2013 and an
announcement on the City Clerk’s webpage seeking volunteers to serve on this committee, applications
were received from the following individuals:
Daniel Toussaint – (Incumbent) Resident of the County of Pueblo
Albert Herrera – (New) Resident of the County of Pueblo
Barbara Bernard – (New) Resident of the County of Pueblo

This is a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation.
