RECOMMENDATION Approval of the Ordinance. BACKGROUND Section 8-8 of the City Charter requires the Human Resources Director to provide a Uniform Schedule of Pay for the Classified Service, which shall be approved by the City Manager and submitted to City Council. The difference in salary of Network Administrator and the System Administrator position will be covered by salary savings for the remainder of 2013 and will be appropriated in the 2014 Information Technology Department budget. There will be no net change in the Wastewater Department’s operating costs as a result of this staffing adjustment.
