RECOMMENDATION Approval of the Resolution. BACKGROUND Due to the term expiration of Incumbent Board Member Michael Ferris, there is one appointment to fill on the Liquor and Beer Licensing Board for a four-year term expiring on August 1, 2017. Mr. Ferris has indicated he does wish to be considered for reappointment. In response to an advertisement published in The Pueblo Chieftain on Sunday, June 16, 2013 and an announcement on the City Clerk’s webpage seeking volunteers to serve on this board, applications were received from the following individuals:  Michael Ferris- Incumbent Mr. Ferris also serves as Secretary/Treasurer for the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. FINANCIAL IMPACT Liquor and Beer Licensing Board Members receive as compensation $25.00 for each regular or special meeting actually attended. The Chairman of the Board receives as additional compensation the sum of $50.00 per month for each month of service as Chairman. These monies are allocated in the City Clerk’s Office annual budget.
