ISSUE
Should City Council appoint a member to the Pueblo Urban Renewal Authority to complete
a five-year term expiring February 1, 2014?
RECOMMENDATION
Approval of the Resolution.
BACKGROUND
Due to the resignation of board member Andrew Trainor, there is one appointment to be
filled to complete a five-year term expiring February 1, 2014, on the Pueblo Urban
Renewal Authority.
Following an advertisement published in The Pueblo Chieftain on Sunday, May 26, 2013
and an announcement on the City Clerk’s web page seeking volunteers to serve on this
committee, applications were received from the following individuals:
Debra Mansell – Resident of the City of Pueblo
Betty Martinez – Resident of the City of Pueblo
FINANCIAL IMPACT
This is a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation.

A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE
PUEBLO URBAN RENEWAL AUTHORITY
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
The following individual is hereby appointed to the Pueblo Urban Renewal
Authority to complete a five-year term expiring February 1, 2014.
