HomeMy WebLinkAbout08597ORDINANCE NO. 8597 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF TITLE IV OF THE PUEBLO MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO BUILDING REGULATIONS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. Subsection 4-2-2(a) of Title IV of the Pueblo Municipal Code is hereby deleted in its entirety. SECTION 2. Subsections 4-2-2(b) through (x) of Chapter 2, Title IV of the Pueblo Municipal Code, as amended, shall be re-lettered as Subsections 4-2-2(a) through (w). SECTION 3. Subsections 4-2-2(y) and (z) of Chapter 2, Title IV of the Pueblo Municipal Code, as amended, are hereby deleted in their entirety. SECTION 4. Subsections 4-2-2(aa) through (bb) of Chapter 2, Titlve IV of the Pueblo Municipal Code, as amended, shall be re-lettered as Subsections 4-2-2(z) through (aa). SECTION 5. Any person who violates the Pueblo Municipal Code as amended hereby or violates this Ordinance as related thereto, shall be guilty of a municipal offense subject to the punishment and all other remedies as provided in Title IV of the Pueblo Municipal Code, as amended. SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval. RECOMMENDATION Regional Building Department recommends approval of the Ordinance. BACKGROUND The City presently has in effect the 2009 International Building Code, as amended. Certain amendments to the 2009 International Building Code, as amended and codified in Chapter 2 of Title IV of the Pueblo Municipal Code must be made in order to conform to the practices of the Regional Building Department. FINANCIALIMPACT None.
