AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING CAPITAL PROJECT NO.
AP1301-FUEL FARM CONTAINMENT AND BUDGETING,
APPROPRIATING, AND TRANSFERRING $200,000 TO
CAPITAL PROJECT NO. AP1301
WHEREAS, the City of Pueblo has accepted a Grant Agreement from Colorado
Department of Transportation-Aeronautics Division for the construction of a fuel farm
containment structure; and
WHEREAS, Capital Project No. AP1301-Fuel Farm Containment needs to be established
and funds budgeted and appropriated; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
Capital Project No. AP1301-Fuel Farm Containment is hereby established, and funds in
the amount of $180,000 are hereby budgeted and appropriated to Capital Project AP1301-Fuel
Farm Containment from the Colorado Department of Transportation-Aeronautics Division grant.
SECTION 2.
Funds in the amount of $20,000 are hereby transferred from the 411 Fund to Capital
Project AP1301-Fuel Farm Containment.

ISSUE
Should City Council establish a Capital Project for the fuel farm containment project and budget
and appropriate funds for this project?
RECOMMENDATION
Approval of this Ordinance.
BACKGROUND
The State of Colorado, acting by and through the Department of Transportation – Aeronautics
Division (“State”) has issued a grant to the City of Pueblo for assistance with the construction of
a fuel farm containment structure. The existing fuel farm does not meet the secondary
containment regulations. The grant will pay for 90% of the project costs.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The total project is $200,000. The State grant for this project is $180,000. The City’s local
match is $20,000. The City’s matching funds in the amount of $20,000 will be transferred from
the 411 Fund to Capital Project No. AP1301-Fuel Farm Containment.
