A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE
SISTER CITY COMMISSION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that:
The following individuals are hereby appointed to the Sister Cities Commission.
Dan Centa to complete the three-year term expiring on March 1, 2014; and Dagmar A.
Haney, David Roscover and Daniel J. Ramos for three-year terms expiring March 1,
2016.

A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE SISTER CITY COMMISSION
ISSUE
Should City Council appoint members to the Sister City Commission for three-year
terms expiring March 1, 2016 and one term to complete a three-year term expiring
March 1, 2014?
RECOMMENDATION
Approval of the Resolution.
BACKGROUND
Due to the term expirations of Incumbent Commission Members Dagmar Haney, David
Roscover and Ray Kogovsek, there are three appointments to be filled on the Sister City
Commission. Both Dagmar Haney and David Roscover wish to be considered for
reappointment. Mr. Kogovsek does not wish to be reappointed. There is also an
appointment to complete a three-year term expiring March 1, 2014, vacated by Jacob
Chi.
A Public Notice was published in the Pueblo Chieftain on January 20, 2013 and an
announcement was posted on the City Clerk’s webpage seeking volunteers to serve on
this committee, applications were received by the following individuals.
Daniel J. Ramos – New Applicant, Resident of the City of Pueblo
Dagmar A. Haney – Incumbent, Resident of the City of Pueblo
David A. Roscover - Incumbent, Resident of the City of Pueblo
Dan Centa – New Applicant, Resident of Pueblo County
FINANCIAL IMPACT
This a volunteer committee, and members serve without compensation.
