AP1203 WHEREAS, the City of Pueblo has accepted a Grant Agreement from Colorado Department of Transportation-Aeronautics Division for the reconstruction of a portion of ramp at the Pueblo Memorial Airport; and WHEREAS, Capital Project No. AP1203-Ramp Reconstruction needs to be established and funds budgeted and appropriated; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. Capital Project No. AP1203-Ramp Reconstruction is hereby established, and funds in the amount of $253,674 are hereby budgeted and appropriated to Capital Project AP1203-Ramp Reconstruction from the Colorado Department of Transportation-Aeronautics Division grant. SECTION 2. Funds in the amount of $28,186 are hereby transferred from Project CIAN18-Airport Grants to Capital Project AP1203-Ramp Reconstruction. AP1203 ISSUE Should City Council establish a Capital Project for the reconstruction of a portion of the ramp at Pueblo Memorial Airport and budget and appropriate funds for this project? RECOMMENDATION Approval of this Ordinance. BACKGROUND On May 14, 2012, the City Council accepted a State Aeronautical grant under Resolution No. 12398 to reconstruct the ramp in front of the self-serve fueling station at Pueblo Memorial Airport. The State grant will pay for 90% of the project. FINANCIAL IMPACT The total project is $281,860. The State grant for this project is $253,674. The City’s local match is $28,186. The City’s matching funds in the amount of $28,186 will be transferred from Project CIAN18-Airport Grants.
