A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE
HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that:
The following individual is hereby appointed to the Historic Preservation
Commission, to complete the four-year term expiring January 1, 2014:

ISSUE
Should City Council appoint a member to the Historic Preservation Commission to complete a four-
year term expiring January 1, 2014, vacated due to the resignation of Commission Member Marie
Schwager?
RECOMMENDATION
Approval of Resolution
BACKGROUND
Due to the resignation of Commission Member Marie Schwager, there is one appointment to be
filled on the Historic Preservation Commission. This appointment will complete the four-year term
expiring January 1, 2014.
Following Public Notices published in The Pueblo Chieftain on Sunday, July 29 and a notice on the
City Clerk’s webpage seeking volunteers to serve on this committee, an application was received
from the following individual:
Maria Tucker, Resident of the City of Pueblo
No other applications were received.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
This a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation.
