A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE
COMMUNITY SERVICES ADVISORY COMMISSION
(CSAC) – JOINT CITY/COUNTY APPOINTMENTS
WHEREAS, due to the resignation of Commission Member Stephen Rodriguez,
there is one vacancy to be filled on the Community Services Advisory Commission –
Joint City/County appointment which will complete the four-year term expiring April 30,
2013.
WHERAS, the Director of the City’s Housing and Citizen Services and Director of
the County’s Housing and Human Services jointly reviewed the applications and
recommend Megan Murillo to complete the four-year term expiring April 30, 2013; NOW
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that:
SECTION 1:
Megan Murillo is hereby appointed to the Community Services Advisory
Commission – Joint City/County Appointments for four-year terms expiring April 30,
2013.

ADVISORY COMMISSION (CSAC) – JOINT CITY-COUNTY APPOINTMENT
ISSUE
Should City Council ratify the joint City-County appointment of Megan Murillo to the
Community Services Advisory Commission, to complete a four-year term expiring
April 30, 2013, vacated due to the resignation of Steven F. Rodriguez.
RECOMMENDATION
Approval of the Resolution.
Ada Clark, Director of Housing and Citizen Services for the City of Pueblo and
Ted Ortivez, Director of Housing and Human Services for the County of Pueblo have
reviewed the applications and recommend Megan Murillo for appointment to complete
the term expiring April 30, 2013.
BACKGROUND
Due to the resignation of Steven F. Rodriguez, there now exists, one vacancy of the
Community Services Advisory Commission.
Following an advertisement published in The Pueblo Chieftain on Sunday, April 22,
2012 and notices on the Pueblo County website and Government Channel, seeking
volunteers to serve on this committee, applications were received from the following
individual:
Megan Murillo - (New), Resident of the City of Pueblo

This is a volunteer committee, and members serve without compensation.
