RECOMMENDATION Approval of the Resolution. BACKGROUND This term is a four year term, beginning on August 2, 2012 and ending on August 1, 2016. Due to the term expiration of Incumbent Board Member Don DiFatta on August 1, 2012, there is one appointment to be made on the Liquor and Beer Licensing Board. Mr. DiFatta has indicated he does wish to be considered for reappointment. In response to an advertisement published in The Pueblo Chieftain on Sunday, June 17, 2012 and an announcement on the City Clerk’s webpage seeking volunteers to serve on this board, applications were received from the following individuals:  Don DiFatta- Incumbent  Lucio Torres-Florez (New); Resident of the City of Pueblo Lucio Torres-Florez is currently serving a five-year term on the City/County Board of Health as a County Appointment (term expires July 1, 2017) FINANCIAL IMPACT Liquor and Beer Licensing Board Members receive as compensation $25 for each regular or special meeting actually attended. The Chairman of the Board receives as additional compensation the sum of $50 per month for each month of service as Chairman. These monies are allocated in the City Clerk’s Office annual budget.
