A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING FUNDS IN THE
AMOUNT OF $350,000 FROM PROJECT PL1107 CITY
HALL RENOVATION PHASE II TO PL0904 CITY HALL
INTERIOR RENOVATION AND AUTHORIZING
EXPENDITURE THEREOF FOR CITY HALL INTERIOR
RENOVATION PHASE I
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
Funds in the amount of $350,000 are hereby transferred from Project PL1107
City Hall Interior Renovation Phase II to PL0904 City Hall Interior Renovation.
SECTION 2.
Said funds shall be disbursed from PL1107 City Hall Interior Renovation Account
for the completion of the Phase I Construction Contract awarded to H.W. Houston
Construction Company, Inc.

ISSUE
Should City Council approve a Resolution transferring funds from Project PL1107 City
Hall Renovation Phase II to PL0904 City Hall Interior Renovation Account to be
expended for completion of the Phase I Construction Contract awarded to H.W.
Houston Construction Company, Inc.?
RECOMMENDATION
Approval of Resolution.
BACKGROUND
Unforeseen project costs for Phase I, of which a large portion was used for the proper
removal and disposal of asbestos containing materials (ACM’s), required the
expenditure of the entire amount of contingencies. These additional funds requested
from Phase II are necessary to complete the remaining work within Phase I of the
project.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funds in the amount of $350,000 will be transferred from Project PL1107 City Hall
Renovation Phase II to PL0904 City Hall Interior Renovation Account and expended
therefrom for City Hall Interior Renovation Phase I.
