A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE
COMMUNITY SERVICES ADVISORY COMMISSION
(CSAC) – JOINT CITY/COUNTY APPOINTMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that:
SECTION 1:
Christine Alonzo is hereby appointed to the Community Services Advisory
Commission – Joint City/County Appointment for a four-year term expiring December
31, 2015.

ISSUE
Should City Council formalize the Joint City-County Appointment of Christine Alonzo to
the Community Services Advisory Commission?
RECOMMENDATION
Approve the Resolution.
BACKGROUND
Due to the expansion of the Board from nine to fifteen members, there are several
terms to fill on the Community Services Advisory Commission.
The Pueblo County Clerk’s Office placed a Public Notice in the Pueblo Chieftain on
October 9, 2011 and posted notices on the Pueblo County webpage and Government
Channel seeking volunteers to fill these terms; however, only one application was
received.
Members of Pueblo County Housing and Human Services and Ada Clark, Director of
Housing and Community Services reviewed the application and recommends Christine
Alonzo be appointed for a four-year term expiring December 31, 2015.
The Pueblo County Clerk’s Office will continue to advertise for the remaining vacancies,
and those terms will be filled as additional applications are received.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
This is a volunteer committee, and members serve without compensation.
