RECOMMENDATION The Planning and Zoning Commission, at their November 9, 2011 Regular Meeting, voted 5-0 to recommend approval. BACKGROUND The applicant is proposing to vacate all alleys and utility easements, as well as, eliminate all reservations within the subject property. The purpose of the vacation and subdivision is to consolidate the parcels and remaining alleys to facilitate the construction of the Pueblo County Judicial Building. The property sits directly south of thth 6 Street, east of West Street, north of 4 Street and west of Elizabeth Street. The project site was originally platted in 1878 as multiple 25 foot wide lots within Blocks 18 and 19 as the State Addition to Pueblo. Over time the lots were consolidated to create th several building sites and properties. In addition, portions of the alleys and 5 Street were vacated. With the subdivision and consolidation of the subject property, the alleys and utility easements are no longer necessary. FINANCIAL IMPACT None.
