PL1107, CITY HALL INTERIOR RENOVATION-PHASE II, AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $671,323 THEREFOR WHEREAS, the renovation of the administrative offices within City Hall will require an additional $671,323; and WHEREAS, there are funds available from various completed projects and projects which will not be undertaken, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. Project No. PL1107, City Hall Interior Renovation-Phase II, is hereby established. SECTION 2. The amount of $671,323 is hereby authorized to be transferred into Project No. PL1107, City Hall Interior Renovation-Phase II. PL1107, CITY HALL INTERIOR RENOVATION-PHASE II, AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $671,323 THEREFOR ISSUE Should a project be established for, and funds transferred to, the second phase of the City Hall Interior Renovation project? RECOMMENDATION Approval of this Resolution. BACKGROUND The second phase of renovation to the interior of City Hall will complete the finishing for the offices of the Law Department, City Manager, Finance, Sales Tax, and the City Clerk. Phase II will also complete the restrooms. Much of the funding for this project will be transferred from projects funded in past years that have been completed. In addition, the amount remaining from the Lake Minnequa project reserve will also be used. When a project is completed at a cost less than anticipated, the remaining funds from the project then become available to be used in other projects. This Resolution will sweep those remaining funds from several completed projects to provide the money to complete this phase of the renovation.
