TITLE
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PROJECT NO. PL1107, CITY HALL INTERIOR
RENOVATION-PHASE II, AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $671,323
THEREFOR
ISSUE
Should a project be established for, and funds transferred to, the second phase of the
City Hall Interior Renovation project?
RECOMMENDATION
Approval of this Resolution.
BACKGROUND
The second phase of renovation to the interior of City Hall will complete the finishing for
the offices of the Law Department, City Manager, Finance, Sales Tax, and the City
Clerk. Phase II will also complete the restrooms. Much of the funding for this project
will be transferred from projects funded in past years that have been completed. In
addition, the amount remaining from the Lake Minnequa project reserve will also be
used. When a project is completed at a cost less than anticipated, the remaining funds
from the project then become available to be used in other projects. This Resolution will
sweep those remaining funds from several completed projects to provide the money to
complete this phase of the renovation.
