A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE
COMMUNITY SERVICES ADVISORY COMMISSION (CSAC) –
JOINT CITY-COUNTY APPOINTMENTS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that:
SECTION 1:
The following individuals are hereby appointed to the Community Services Advisory
Commission:
To complete the four-year term expiring April 30, 2012:
Philip Trejo
To complete the four-year term expiring April 30, 2013:
P. Michael Voute
To complete the four-year term expiring April 30, 2014:
David “Nick” Potter

ISSUE
Should City Council formalize the joint City-County appointments to the Community Services Advisory
Commission?
RECOMMENDATION
Approve the Resolution, inserting the names of Philip Trejo to complete the four-year term expiring
April 30, 2012, vacated due to the resignation of Shirley Martinez; P. Michael Voute to complete the
four-year term expiring April 30, 2013, vacated due to the resignation of Jennifer Mullen; and David
“Nick” Potter to complete the four-year term expiring April 30, 2014, vacated due to the resignation of
Michael Spahr.
BACKGROUND
Due to the resignations of Commission Members Shirley Martinez, Jennifer Mullen and Michael
Spahr, there are three vacancies to fill on the Community Services Advisory Commission.
Following advertisements published in the Pueblo Chieftain on December 19, 2010 and April 24, 2011
and announcements on the Government Channel and on the Pueblo County website seeking
volunteers to serve on this Committee, three questionnaires were received.
Lili Avalos from Pueblo County Housing and Human Services and Ada Clark, Director of Housing and
Community Services reviewed the applications and recommends the following individuals be
appointed:
Philip Trejo, Resident of Unincorporated Pueblo County
P. Michael Voute, Resident of the City of Pueblo
David “Nick” Potter, Resident of the City of Pueblo
