RECOMMENDATION Approval of the Resolution. BACKGROUND Due to the resignation of Commission Member Manuel Gonzales, there now exists one vacancy on the Pueblo Human Relations Commission—Joint City-County Appointment, for the three-year term expiring December 31, 2011. A Public Notice was published in The Pueblo Chieftain on March 13, 2011 and announcements were posted on the Government Channel and on the Pueblo County website seeking volunteers to serve on this committee. In response to these notices, an application was received from Troy Ard. No other applications were received. Members of the Pueblo City Council and Board of County Commissioners who were present following the PACOG meeting on September 22, 2011 selected Troy Ard to complete the three- year term expiring December 31, 2011 and for a three-year term expiring December 31, 2014.
