CP1020, MINNEQUA LAKE FOOTBALL FIELDS, TO NON DEPARTMENTAL, COUNCIL APPROVED PROJECTS FOR MOUNTAIN PARK ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER, ACCOUNT NO. 10180204808129 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. Funds in the amount of $100,000 are hereby transferred from Project No. CP1021, Softball Complex, and funds in the amount of $47,000 are hereby transferred from Project No. CP1020, Lake Minnequa Football Fields, to Non Departmental, Council Approved Projects in the 2011 Budget for Mountain Park Environmental Center, Account No. 10180204808129. SECTION 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval. CP1020, MINNEQUA LAKE FOOTBALL FIELDS, TO NON DEPARTMENTAL, COUNCIL APPROVED PROJECTS FOR MOUNTAIN PARK ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER, ACCOUNT NO. 10180204808129 ISSUE Should City Council transfer $147,000 from the Lake Minnequa Football Fields ($47,000) and Softball Complex ($100,000) for the Mountain Park Environmental Center? RECOMMENDATION Approval recommended by members of City Council. BACKGROUND During City Council's Retreat on March 1, 2011, members of City Council expressed a desire to provide needed matching funds in the amount of $147,000 for a grant to renovate the Horseshoe Lodge at the Pueblo Mountain Park. This money can be made available by transfer of $100,000 from the Softball Complex project (CP1021) and $47,000 from the Lake Minnequa Football Fields (CP1020). FINANCIAL IMPACT See Background.
