TH
Should City Council award a construction contract for Project No. 10-101 29 Street
Median Project to Langston Concrete, Inc.?
RECOMMENDATION
Approval of this Resolution.
BACKGROUND
In 2006, the Public Works Department improved the A.D.A. ramps and curb and gutter
th
medians at the intersection of 29 Street and Elizabeth Street. Due to the lack of funds rip-
rap and non-irrigated landscape plants were installed by the City crew from the Streets
Department. The Streetscape Advisory Committee identified the medians as a weed and
maintenance problem. The Committee recommended the medians be covered with
decorative color concrete.
