AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2010
STAFFING ORDINANCE REVISING POSITIONS WITHIN
THE DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
AND THE HONOR FARM PROPERTIES ENTERPRISE
WHEREAS, it is necessary to revise the positions for the ultimate efficiency and
functionality for the Information Technology Department and the Honor Farm Properties
Enterprise
Now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: (brackets indicate
matter being deleted, underscore indicates matter being added)
SECTION 1.
The following sections captioned “Information Technology” and “Honor Farm
Properties” of Ordinance No. 8126, being the 2010 Staffing Ordinance, are amended as
follows:

POSITIONS WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND THE
HONOR FARM PROPERTIES ENTERPRISE
ISSUE
Should City Council pass and approve the proposed Ordinance? The Staffing Ordinance provides
for the allocation of positions by various departments for the Fiscal Year.
RECOMMENDATION
Approval of the ordinance.
BACKGROUND
The original 2010 staffing for the Information Technology Department allocates two Radio
Technicians II positions. The department requests to lower one of the two positions to an entry-
level Radio Technician until said individual obtains their FCC license at which time the individual will
be moved to a Radio Technician II. The department also requests to revise the position title of the
Web Coordinator changing it to Media Systems Administrator. The new title accurately reflects the
position’s duties and responsibilities. The Parks and Recreation Department requests to revise the
position title of the Honor Farm Property Manager changing it to Pueblo Motorsports Park and
Contract Manager. The new title accurately reflects the position’s duties and responsibilities.
