TITLE
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE HONOR FARM ENTERPRISE CITIZENS
ADVISORY BOARD
ISSUE
Should City Council appoint two members to the Honor Farm Enterprise Citizens Advisory
Board – one member to complete a two-year term expiring August 1, 2011 and one member to
complete a three-year term expiring August 1, 2012?
BACKGROUND
City Council appointed Shawn Lindley to the Honor Farm Enterprise Citizens Advisory Board on
May 10, 2010, to complete a two-year term expiring August 1, 2011. Following this
appointment, it was determined that Mr. Lindley had a conflict of interest concerning his duties
as a Board Member, and it would be necessary to remove him from the Board.
Due to the resignation of Ely Pacheco, there is an additional vacancy on the Honor Farm
Enterprise Citizens Advisory Board. This appointment will complete a three-year term expiring
August 1, 2012.
Following an advertisement published in the Pueblo Chieftain on Sunday, May 23, 2010,
seeking volunteers to serve on this committee, applications were received from the following
individuals:
Delmar A. Milne – Resident of the City of Pueblo
Bob Neumeister – Resident of the City of Pueblo
Michael Ostrander – Resident of the City of Pueblo
RECOMMENDATION
Approval of the Resolution.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
This is a volunteer board, and members serve without compensation.
