A RESOLUTION APPOINTING COUNCIL MEMBERS TO THE PLANNING AND
ZONING COMMISSION, THE PUEBLO REGIONAL BUILDING COMMISSION, THE
COMMITTEE ON DISPOSITION OF FORFEITED PROPERTY, THE URBAN
RENEWAL AUTHORITY OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, THE PUEBLO MEMORIAL
AIRPORT ADVISORY COMMITTEE, THE STREETSCAPE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
AND APPOINTING DIRECTORS TO THE PUEBLO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS, THE HARP AUTHORITY BOARD OF
DIRECTORS, AND THE PUEBLO DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION BOARD OF
DIRECTORS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
Vera Ortepon is hereby appointed as the City Council
Representative on the Planning and Zoning Commission for a term expiring January 31,
2011.
SECTION 2.
Ray Aouilera is hereby appointed as the City Council
Representative on the Pueblo Regional Building Commission for a term expiring
January 31, 2011.
SECTION 3.
Steve Nawrocki is hereby appointed as the City Council
Representative on the Committee on Disposition of Forfeited Property for a term
expiring January 31, 2011.
SECTION 4.
Chris Kaufman is hereby appointed as the City Council
Representative to the Urban Renewal Authority of Pueblo, Colorado, for a term expiring
January 31, 2011.
SECTION 5.
_ Larry Atencio is hereby appointed as the City Council
Representative to serve as an Ex- Officio member of the Urban Renewal authority of
Pueblo, Colorado for a term expiring January 31, 2011.
SECTION 6.
Leroy Garcia and Larry Atencio are hereby appointed as
the City Council Representatives on the Pueblo Memorial Airport Advisory Committee
for a term expiring January 31, 2011.
SECTION 7.
Judy Weaver and Larry Atencio are hereby appointed to
the Pueblo Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors to serve the 1 -year
term expiring January 31, 2011.
SECTION 8.
Jerry Pacheco is hereby appointed as the City Council
Representative on the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo Authority Board of
Directors for a one -year term expiring January 31, 2011.
SECTION 9.
Steve Nawrocki is hereby appointed to the City Council
Representative on the Pueblo Development Foundation Board of Directors for a one-
year term expiring January 31, 2011.
SECTION 10.
Chris Kaufman is hereby appointed as the City Council
Representative to serve as an Ex- Officio member of the Streetscape Advisory
Committee for a term expiring January 31, 2011.
SECTION 11.
This resolution is effective on final passage and approval.

ISSUE
Should City Council Members be appointed to the Planning and Zoning Commission,
the Pueblo Regional Building Commission, the Committee on Disposition of Forfeited
Property, the Urban Renewal Authority of Pueblo, Colorado, the Pueblo Memorial
Airport Advisory Committee, the Streetscape Advisory Committee and appoint directors
to the Pueblo Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors, the Harp
Authority Board of Directors, and the Pueblo Development Foundation Board of
Directors?
BACKGROUND
This Resolution will appoint City Council representatives to Boards and Commissions
and Boards of Directors where it is either required that a Council Member be a member
or it has been the policy to have a Council Member as a member. These appointments
will expire January 31, 2011.
