A RESOLUTION FIXING AN ALTERNATE DAY FOR THE REGULAR
CITY COUNCIL MEETING CURRENTLY SCHEDULED FOR THE
SECOND MONDAY IN OCTOBER 2010
WHEREAS, the Regular City Council Meeting scheduled for the second Monday of
October 2010 falls on October 11, 2010; and
WHEREAS, October 11, 2010 is a legal holiday for the City of Pueblo (Columbus Day);
NOW THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO. that:
Tuesday. October 12, 2010 is hereby fixed as the day for the Regular Meeting of the
Pueblo City Council, originally scheduled for Monday, October 11, 2010.

A RESOLUTION FIXING AN ALTERNATE DAY FOR THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL
MEETING CURRENTLY SCHEDULED FOR THE SECOND MONDAY IN OCTOBER
2010
ISSUE
Shall the City Council change the date of the Regular City Council meeting currently
scheduled for the second Monday in October in order to accommodate the 2010 City
holiday schedule?
RECOMMENDATION
Approve the Resolution.
BACKGROUND
Per Section 3 -15 of the City Charter; "If a regular meeting shall fall on or the evening
before a City holiday, the City Council may by Resolution fix another day for such
regular meeting."
Monday October 11, 2010 is Columbus Day and is observed as a City Holiday;
therefore, it is recommended that the date of the Regular City Council meeting currently
scheduled for Monday October 11, 2010 be changed to take place on Tuesday October
12, 2010.
