(SEH) FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN THE AMOUNT OF $31,000 RELATED TO THE AIRPORT SECURITY PLAN UPDATE AND AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO EXECUTE SAME BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. A certain Agreement for professional services, a copy of which is attached hereto and made part thereof by reference, after having been approved as to form by the City Attorney, by and between the City of Pueblo, a Municipal Corporation, and Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. (SEH), for professional services relating to the Airport Security Plan Update, is hereby approved. SECTION 2. The President of City Council is hereby authorized to execute the Agreement on behalf of Pueblo, a Municipal Corporation, and the City Clerk shall affix the Seal of the City thereto and attest same. SECTION 3. Funds in the amount of $31,000 shall be expended from the 2009 Airport Fund. (SEH) FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN THE AMOUNT OF $31,000 RELATED TO THE AIRPORT SECURITY PLAN UPDATE AND AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO EXECUTE SAME ISSUE Should City Council approve an agreement with SEH for professional services related to the Airport Security Plan Update. RECOMMENDATION Approval of this Resolution. BACKGROUND This agreement is for professional services related to updating the existing Airport Security Plan to a category III plan to meet Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements. SEH will also provide a Senior Airport Planner with airport operations and airport management experience to transition with the Interim Airport Manager during the month of December. FINANCIAL IMPACT Funds in the amount of $31,000 shall be expended from the 2009 Airport Fund.
