Subject: Good News and Bad News
First the bad news: we haven't received the hard copy of the application yet.
Now the good news: You got your $3,500.00 for this enforcement.
What we will need in return, is:
1. You post your enforcement plan(s) and arrest data on the website under
"Summer Checkpoints 2009" and "National Crackdown Labor Day 2009 ".
2. Submit a final report summarizing your use of the funds. We'll need
number of checkpoints and /or saturation patrols, number of officers that
worked, other agencies involved, number of arrests, number of cars
through checkpoints, and any other notable events that occurred during
enforcement.
3. Claim with backup documentation. The backup only needs to have names
of officers, dates and hours worked, hourly pay rate, total pay for each,
and total pay for all involved. Just like during the June Checkpoint
campaign, there is a 25% match requirement. This should be easy to get,
given your time to plan the checkpoints, your vehicle usage, time to set up
cones and signs, etc.
Sound OK?
