A RESOLUTION APPROVING A BARGAIN AND SALE
DEED CONVEYING TITLE TO APPROXIMATELY FIVE
ACRES OF LAND TO THE BOARD OF WATER WORKS
OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, AND AUTHORIZING THE
PRESIDENT OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO EXECUTE
SAME
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1
The Bargaining and Sale Deed ( "Deed ") conveying approximately five acres of
land to the Board of Water Works of Pueblo, a copy of which is attached hereto, having
been approved as to form by the City Attorney, is hereby approved.

The President of the City Council is hereby authorized to execute and deliver the
Deed in the name of the City of Pueblo. The City Clerk is directed to fix the seal of the
City to the Deed, attest same, and cause the Deed to be recorded in the records of the
Pueblo County Clerk and Recorder.
SECTION 3
The City Council hereby finds and determines that the real property described in
the Deed is not used or intended to be used by the City for any public purpose and is
surplus to City's needs.

ISSUE
Should Council approve the conveyance of 5 acres of land to Board of Water Works of
Pueblo, Colorado?
RECOMMENDATION
Approve the conveyance.
BACKGROUND
City obtained title to approximately 5 acres of land from Vestas Towers America, Inc. for
the use and benefit of the Board of Water Works of Pueblo, Colorado, in the
construction, location and operation of a water storage tank. The Board of Water Works
has requested that title to the 5 acres be conveyed to the Board of Water Works.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
None.
