TITLE
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ENCUMBERING OF FUNDS IN THE 1992 -2011
SALES AND USE TAX CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FUND TO MAINTAIN
VACANT BUILDINGS AT THE PUEBLO MEMORIAL AIRPORT INDUSTRIAL PARK.
ISSUE
Should City Council approve the use of funds from the project accounts in the 1992-
2011 Sales and Use Tax Capital Improvement Projects Fund to maintain vacant
buildings at the Pueblo Memorial Airport Industrial Park?
RECOMMENDATION
Approve this action.
BACKGROUND
Certain buildings at the Pueblo Memorial Airport Industrial Park have been constructed
for use by future industrial prospects or have been vacated by former tenants. The
appearance of these buildings is important in presenting them to prospective tenants.
In order to keep up the appearance and integrity of these buildings they require that
insurance be carried, utilities remain on, and that they be maintained. This
authorization encumbers funds for that purpose.
