A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ACCEPTING A SPECIAL WARRANTY DEED FROM
PUEBLO DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION RELATING TO LOT 67, PUEBLO MEMORIAL
AIRPORT INDUSTRIAL PARK SUBDIVISION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1
The Special Warranty Deed dated April 14, 2008 from Pueblo Development Foundation to
Pueblo relating to Lot 67, Pueblo Memorial Airport Industrial Park Subdivision, a copy of which is
attached hereto, having been approved as to form by the City Attorney, is hereby approved and
accepted.
SECTION 2
This Resolution shall become effective upon final passage and approval.

ISSUE
Should the City accept a conveyance of property from Pueblo Development
Foundation?
RECOMMENDATION
Accept the conveyance.
BACKGROUND
City conveyed Lot 67, Pueblo Memorial Airport Industrial Park and improvements
thereon ( "Lot 67 ") to Pueblo Development Foundation ( "Foundation ") in conjunction
with the Deneen and Company job creating capital improvement project. Deneen
and Company has terminated its business and vacated Lot 67. Foundation is
conveying Lot 67 back to the City. Such conveyance will cause Lot 67 to be exempt
from general property tax.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
City will insure the building and be responsible for utilities and maintenance.
