A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE SISTER CITY COMMISSION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that:
The following individuals are hereby appointed to the Sister City Commission to serve
initial staggered terms according to the Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of
Pueblo and the Pueblo County Commissioners:
Jacob Chi for a three -year term expiring March 1, 2011;
Carlos Maldonado for a three -year term expiring March 1, 2011;
Michael G. Salardino for a three -year term expiring March 1, 2011;
Bonifacio Cosyleon for a two -year term expiring March 1, 2010;
Ray Kogovsek for a two -year term expiring March 1, 2010;
David A. Roscover for a two -year term expiring March 1, 2010;
Jack Quinn for a one -year term expiring March 1, 2009;
Frank L. Sagona for a one -year term expiring March 1, 2009;

A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE SISTER CITY COMMISSION
ISSUE
Should City Council appoint eight members to the Sister City Commission to serve the initial
staggered terms per the Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Pueblo and the Board of
County Commissioners?
RECOMMENDATION
Approval of the Resolution.
BACKGROUND
Resolution No. 11114 approved an Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Pueblo and the
Pueblo County Board of Commissioners as it pertains to the creation of a joint City /County Sister City
Commission. Per the request of the Sister City Commission, City Council passed and approved
Resolution No. 11183, which amended the Intergovernmental agreement and expanded the
membership from 12 members to 16 members. Eight members will be appointed by the City Council,
and the County Commissioners will appoint eight members.
Eight of the current members (with current terms) will be appointed by City Council as City
appointments for the new staggered terms and four current members plus four new members will be
appointed by the County Commissioners.
