CSAC recommends specific levels of funding for each non - profit based upon total dollar amounts made available by both the City and the County. At a joint meeting of the City and County in 2004, it was decided that the City and County would each allocate one -half (50 %) of the amount recommended for each entity. For the fiscal year 2008, the City Council has decided to allocate $800,000 to this process, which is $100,000 less from the previous, year. On November 26, 2007, City Council approved the 2008 Budget with the total funding of $800,000 appropriated in the non - departmental section of the general fund budget.. This amount equals to 47 of the total amount (see attachment) allocated to the CSAC process ($1,700,000). Each line item.in this Resolution reflects, and approves, the 47% (City share) to be allocated to the various non -profit agencies in the CSAC process. RECOMMENDATION Approval of the Resolution. FINANCIAL IMPACT This resolution has no financial impact, as the total funding amount of $800,000 has already been appropriated in the 2008 budget.
