A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXCHANGE OF DEEDS BETWEEN PUEBLO, A
MUNICIPAL CORPORATION AND PEDCO FOUNDATION, INC., RELATING TO THE
PROFESSIONAL BULL RIDERS' BUILDING AND AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE
CITY COUNCIL TO EXECUTE THE SPECIAL WARRANTY DEED FROM PUEBLO TO
PEDCO FOUNDATION, INC.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The Special Warranty Deed dated August 27, 2007 between PEDCO Foundation, Inc.,
as Grantor and Pueblo, a Municipal Corporation, as Grantee, relating to the Professional Bull
Riders' building (the " PEDCO Foundation Deed ") a copy of which is attached hereto, having
been approved as to form by the City Attorney, is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION 2.
The Special Warranty Deed dated August 27, 2007 between Pueblo, a Municipal
Corporation, as Grantor and PEDCO Foundation, Inc., as Grantee relating to the Professional
Bull Riders' building (the "Pueblo Deed "), a copy of which is attached hereto, having been
approved as to form by the City Attorney, is hereby approved. The President
of the City Council is authorized to execute the Pueblo Deed in the name of the City and the
City Clerk is directed to affix the seal of the City thereto and attest same.
SECTION 3.
The City clerk is directed to record in the office of the Pueblo County Clerk and Recorder
(a) the executed PEDCO Foundation Deed immediately prior to the recording of the Ordinance
approving the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk Project, Filing Two and the subdivision plat therefor
(the "Subdivision Ordinance and Plat "), and (b) the executed Pueblo Deed immediately after
recording the Subdivision Ordinance and Plat.
SECTION 4.
This Resolution shall become effective upon final passage and approval.

ISSUE
Should City Council approve the exchange of deeds between the City and PEDCO
Foundation relating to the Professional Bull Riders' project?
RECOMMENDATION
Approve the exchange.
BACKGROUND
The lot lines of the lot for the Professional Bull Riders' project conveyed to the PEDCO
Foundation by the City ( "Lot ") needs to be realigned to conform with the location of the
Professional Bull Riders' building. The Lot is being resubdivided and City and PEDCO
Foundation need to exchange deeds so that the Lot owned by PEDCO Foundation and
leased to the Professional Bull Riders will accurately reflect the Lot boundaries set forth in
the resubdivision.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
None.
