A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PUEBLO, A
MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, AND SHORT ELLIOTT HENDRICKSON INC. (SEH) FOR
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN THE AMOUNT OF $159,996 RELATED TO THE
CONSTRUCTION OF PARALLEL TAXIWAY P AND THE HELICOPTER TRAINING AREA AT
PUEBLO MEMORIAL AIRPORT AND AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE CITY COUNCIL
TO EXECUTE SAME
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1 _
A certain Agreement for professional services, a copy of which is attached hereto and made
part thereof by reference, after having been approved as to form by the City Attorney, by and
between the City of Pueblo, a Municipal Corporation, and Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. (SEH), for
professional services relating to the construction of parallel Taxiway P and the helicopter training
area at Pueblo Memorial Airport, is hereby approved.
SECTION 2.
The President of City Council is hereby authorized to execute the Agreement on behalf of
Pueblo, a Municipal Corporation, and the City Clerk shall affix the Seal of the City thereto and
attest same.
SECTION 3.
Funds in the amount of $159,996 shall be expended from Project AP0701.

ISSUE
Should City Council approve an agreement with SEH for professional services related to
the construction of parallel Taxiway P and the helicopter training area at Pueblo
Memorial Airport.
RECOMMENDATION
Approval of this Resolution.
BACKGROUND
This agreement is for construction observation and quality acceptance services for the
construction of parallel Taxiway P and the helicopter training area. The project is to be
funded by the FAA at 95 %, the State at 2.5% and local funds of 2.5 %.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funds in the amount of $159,996 shall be expended from Project AP0701. The City's
matching funds will be $4,000. Any and all contingencies from this project are subject to
FAA approval and amendment of the grant,
